You all seem to be overreacting, in my humble opinion. It was an event, you have an excuse for the way you acted. Besides which, it's nice to let it out every once in awhile, isn't it?

If anyone would like to confess, the church is open to all. If you don't feel comfortable with that, there are a few simple prayers that I could recite for you- even over the PCD, if you're inclined.

However, I admit that I don't quite see the point. I've seen people do far worse than you all have acted, so I'm not exactly sure why you're all so upset. I guess we should count our blessings though- it means we've got a lot more morally sound people in Adstring than I thought!

Because even if it was because of the Animus, you feel bad for what happened. You don't want people to be hurt by you, no matter how it happened.

An event is no excuse for what occurred during that week. Using it as such relieves people of responsibility. No matter how they acted or whatever they were influenced by, their actions were still their own, and they should be held accountable for them.

Besides which, perhaps that came out wrong. I'm simply commenting on how redundant all of this apologizing is. Why don't we all agree that everyone is sorry and put it behind us? Obsessing over something that cannot change won't do anyone any good.

Because not everyone is sorry, Yuca, and the guilt that those people feel is normal and necessary. There are those that won't feel apologetic for the crimes they've committed under the influence of the event or whatever else they have endured.

I'm not religious or anything, so I gotta ask, how does confessing help someone? It's not like you can change the past or something.

Well... God already knows your sin. Confessing is more of bringing to your own understanding that what you did was wrong- recognizing our own sins and how ugly our lives truly are. Even if you wish to confess to your own personal god in private, it can be a sign of pride- which is also a sin- pride, that you do not want other people to know what you've done and want them to continue to view you bathed in light.
