Fifth rebirth- [text]

[Yuca is leaning against the wall, sitting in the bed he woke up in and typing quietly on his PCD, not wanting to disturb his roommates. How considerate of him.]

...children?

I'm assuming this is another event, given the Animus post and sudden relocation. Though I'm still a little startled to have been suddenly unconscious like that, much less waking up in the same room as two kids.

Still, I think it's better than a lot of potential other roommates. I'm pretty good with kids!

[ooc: d'awww, the mass murderer is in a room with Honey and Charmy (neither of which is exactly a kid but.) Fear, Adstring.]

Because I'm bored and just as curious about these people as you. I simply lack the tools or the strength to study them.

Ah- yes, of course. But that hasn't been happening recently, has it? Not on a grand scale.

So you still have some scientific interests?

...Unfortunately not.

Not quite in the science as much as the people. Who to avoid, who's side to be on, that sort of thing. Though, if there was a way to duplicate their abilities, I would like to know.

And that's where I can help.

Hm. Reasonable enough. As for duplicating abilities, that's doubtful. Imitating is more possible, and negating is most likely of all.

You think you can encourage more compliance? Or less interference?

Even negating would be useful. Much less of a threat, that way. [Not that Yuca was particularly worried about someone hurting him- more, that he was concerned that if and when he did try to end this place, someone's interference would ruin it all.]

I think I should be able to, yes. Just so long as you continue looking into ways to kill me on the side.

Almost anything can be negated with enough study. Which makes attaining samples to study that much more valuable.

I'll be looking into it. The more of a challenge it is, the more interesting it will be to solve.

That makes sense. The more samples, the better.

Then I'm pleased to inform you that you might have a real challenge on your hands. I don't deal specifically in spirits, but if no hints have shown themselves to me in the hundreds of thousands of years I've been walking my planet...

Of course.

Then lucky for you to have dropped into a world where there are specialists in soul research. Not that it's a guarantee of success, but it is a new avenue.

Lucky me. Of course, even if we can kill my soul, I might come back anyway, due to this.. resurrection thing, in Adstring. Think you can work around that?

Working around the Animus is another goal. Might as well accomplish them both at once.

I'm eager to see the results, then. Until tomorrow, Kurotsuchi.

Good luck with your 'children'.
